Moose Jaw, SK— Four year Warriors veteran Ryan Stanton has signed a three year entry level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. The St. Albert native began his WHL career with the tribe in 2005 and has remained a commanding blue line presence.

In his final year of Junior Hockey, Ryan is rated amongst the top twenty defensemen in the WHL. Stanton has stacked up some of his best stats of his career this season. “It’s very exciting to have one of our twenty year old players sign a NHL contract; it’s a true testament to Ryan’s work ethic and commitment to his hockey career,” said Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Truitt.

Ryan will join the past Warriors such as Theo Fleury and current team member Troy Brouwer as part of the Blackhawks organization.
