Team Photo's

Feb. 28 - 2022

  • In order for these photos  in a timely manner, Andy (the photographer) has a very specific agenda/itinerary. The timeline must be followed as requested in order to complete the session and be ready for the practice that is schedule for 8:45pm

  • Heads shots in the Reliance Room (formerly Morinville Room) starting at 7:45 sharp. ALL players to be dressed/ready to go at 7:45 so they can be briefed en masse/at once. They can’t come piecemeal please or we will be late getting on the ice for the team photo.

  • Goalie heads first, righties then lefties … and please note there is a lighting change depending on the way they shoot, so it is important to know Andy cannot ping-pong back-and-forth between a left hand shot, then a right hand shot, then go back to another left, etc.

It must be goalies, followed by ALL rights, followed by ALL lefts.

  • Everyone needs to be fully dressed waist up at time of briefing. That means undergarment top or team tee underneath (NO OBSCURE COLOURED tees - black dryland team tee strongly recommended). Please ARRIVE LIKE A HOCKEY PLAYER; elbow pads, shoulder pads, navy jersey, gloves and stick (goalies need masks too). Once any given individual has been shot he can then return to DR to put on the remainder of gear to prepare for team shot.

  • It will take approximately 45 minutes to complete head shots.

  • It is important to note coaches need to be uniformly dressed in team track suits and ALL should be in attendance for the team photo as there will be no cloning-in of absent personnel.

  • Players and coaches should stay OFF ice until I call them out so as not to scar it up; we want a clean sheet for best results.

  • *And please note, the tallest 8 players will need to bring skate guards as they may be required to stand on the wooden bench for the back row and Servus Place does not want that bench scarred by blades (they just need to have them with them, not actually wearing them just yet).

As you can see, a specific process needs to be in place for this photo session to go off without a hitch. We are fortunate to have Andy Devlin taking our photos! Please talk to your player about respecting Andy’s requests and being prepared as he has asked. Another reminder will be sent out closer to the date.

Thank you all for your cooperation.
