Important Information on Vaccination Requirements
Many municipalities across Alberta are implementing Proof of Vaccination Requirements for access to various facilities and services. The City of St Albert will be implementing some form of Proof of Vaccination requirement for access to recreational facilities, such as arenas, beginning 20 Sep. These requirements may restrict access to players who are not vaccinated. The Edmonton Garrison will require Proof of Vaccination for entry into their facilities, such as the arena and field house, starting 20 Sep. Additionally, the Steel are registered for a tournament in Revelstoke 21 to 24 October. British Columbia has implemented a Vaccination Passport program for all of British Columbia. This includes Recreational facilities, restaurants etc. The ability to participate in all team activities, such as practices, games, off ice training, tournaments, bus trips, team meals, planned team activities, etc, are considered mandatory requirements to play on the Steel. Exemptions due to injury, illness, work, school or family requirements, may be entertained on a case by case basis.
