Slash invited to U-18 Selection Camp

Seven members of the St. Albert Slash are among the top 46 players invited to the Team Alberta U-18 Female Provincial Camp in Camrose July 6-11, 2010. Attending the camp are Eliza Snider, Paige Foster, and Tegan Rose on defense and forwards Angie Mason, Jessica Kampjes, Krystal Reithmayer and Melissa Kueber. The female U-18 Team Alberta will play in the Canada Winter Games in Halifax in February 2011. The Raiders Hockey Club wishes Eliza, Paige, Tegan, Angie, Jessica, Krystal and Melissa the best of luck.
Raiders invited to U-17 Selection Camp

Raiders Nick Walters, Troy Bourke, Matt Benning and Jayden Hart are amoung 46 players invited by Hockey Alberta to their Under 17 selection camp in Camrose July 6th to 11th. The team will be off to Winnipeg over the Christmas holidays to take part in the Under 17 World Hockey Challenge Cup tournament. Good luck to Nick, Troy, Matt and Jayden.
Tyler Bunz Drafted by the Oilers!

Tyler Bunz was selected 121st in the 5th round by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 Entry draft. Tyler played for the Midget AAA Raiders as a 15 year old and has since played with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL. Tyler is the 48th player from SAMHA/Raiders to be drafted by an NHL team.
