SLASH take Game 1 of Pacific Regional

The St. Albert Slash have drawn first blood in the Pacific Regional Championship with a 2-0 win over the B.C Provincial champion Greater Vancouver Comets.

Camryn Drever recorded the shutout with a 22 save performance. Kaylee Vader and Cassidy Maplethorpe provided the scoring.

A good crowd of supporters was on hand, estimated to be about 350-400 fans.

Game 2 goes tonight at 7pm at Servus Place in St. Albert.
